Norman Schippert
- 19 years work history: 1995 – 2014 BluegrassNet / BGND CEO
- Norman has been involved with designing Internet integration systems since 1995. He has extensive experience in the area of business planning, troubleshooting, Emergency Response, Contingency Planning, etc. He has been the CEO of BGND since 1995 and he is CEO of BluegrassNet, one of the region’s largest independent ISPs. The general knowledge and experience required to supervise the successful operation of a large IP network, as well as ancillary system services, puts Norman in a unique position of understanding how the Internet works, the inherent flaws in running systems on the public network, as well as being able to deliver realistic expectations in regards to overall system viability. He directs all resources at BGND.
